Airport transfers

Time to say goodbye?

Venice is served by two airports:

  • the main Marco Polo Airport (VCE)
  • the secondary Antonio Canova Airport (TSF) in Treviso

Transfer options vary depending on the departure airport.

Which airport is your flight departing from?

There are three different transportation options from Venice to Marco Polo Airport.

#1. Water TaxiStylish & Fast

You'll be picked up by a speedboat from the nearest water-accessible point to your accommodation, typically along Canal Grande.

A private water taxi can typically be booked for up to 6 people, providing a stress-free and stylish ride. The trip to the airport takes around 30 minutes, and porter service is usually included.

A shared water taxi is a more affordable option that retains the stylish advantage. Since it has to pick up multiple passengers, the short ride time is not always guaranteed.

#2. Water BusScenic & Slow

Alilaguna is the only water bus service to the airport, operating on three color-coded lines:

ALinea arancio (orange)

BLinea blu (blue)

RLinea rossa (red, summer only)
